20 page black and white booklet explaining Waffle-Weaving from Montgomery Ward plus the 4 piece wooden Waffle-Weaving Frame no. 71-1926. All you need to proceed is a needle and crochet/knitting cotton. Needle and fibers are NOT included in this listing, just the pamphlet and the wooden frame.
There's no date on this but it's from days gone by. See photo of cover with mother and daughter working with this technique. Their clothes and hairstyles should give you a good idea of the time frame of this pamphlet.
Instructions include how to assemble the frame (it's adjustable to various sizes), how to wind the starter threads, tie knots, do the diagonal weaving, and remove the work and wash, plus specific instructions on the patterns for each project. Fiber used is crochet and knitting cotton.
