VTG SALEM CHINA 8.5 VEG BOWL 'STARLIGHT' PATTERN ON YELLOW MORNING BOUQUET BOWL

Description

This is a Vintage Salem China 8 1/2" Vegetable Serving Bowl signed with #61 U on the underside, in wonderful condition.  It was made in the 1950's and shows no signs of usage.  It features the center yellow & green floral design from the 'Starlight' pattern, and the bowl is exactly like the 'Yellow Morning Bouquet' Bowl.  It is ivory in color, and then fades into the lovely yellow embossed scalloped edge.  It stands 2 1/2" tall, and the diameter is 8 1/2".  No chips, cracks, stains, repairs, no utensil marks that I can see;  only flaws are the little specks of paint that have flecked off the 2 leaves and some crazing  ~ please see last picture.  It was made in the USA and is ovenproof.  Thanks for looking at this beautiful, unique vintage bowl.
