Vintage Matchbook Schiffli Embroidered Emblems; this is a vintage matchbook from Schiffli Embroidered Emblems, a patch making company founded in Chicago in the 1890's. Manufactured by the Emblem Embroidery Co, it is a white cardboard matchbook that has color illustrations of examples of emblems on one side of the cover and information on the other on how to get the emblems for pennies along with a color illustration of a rooster standing on a globe on the other. The saddle side has the manufacturing information and the inside of the cover has information on how to get a color product catalog. Matchbook contains 20 unstruck matches and striker appears to be unused. Measuring approximately 2" x 1.5", condition is used with wear and tear.
