DESCRIPTION:
Up for your consideration a vintage Cast metal pair of L.V.Aronson 1923
Pointer setter hunting dog book ends.
A lovely pair in a dark black finish.,very nice detail.
They both have some paint chips and nicks along the edges.
The tail on both pieces are missing,or broke off.
Books in picture are not included.
They are very heavy weighing a little under 6 pounds total
Not sure of the material its not cast iron because it is none magnetic,
Brass will have a little magnet response with earth magnet,but it doesn't.
High possibility its bronze gut not sure,needs to retested.
Measure 4-3/4'' wide x 4-1/4'' high x 2-1/2'' thick.
