  • Condition: Metal hanger at bottom shows rusting/corrosion associated with age. Tight hairline on top of head (see last photo). Otherwise fine condition. Please enlarge and examine all photos carefully as they are considered part of the description.

    Description

    An interesting and unusual item for the English Setter collector. This is a ceramic wall plaque, bearing a Japan label, with a swinging metal hook at the bottom. We'd use it for dog collars or leashes, but it was probably originally intended for ties or belts. The English Setter dog is very well modeled, with lots of very nice detail, and it is beautifully decorated as well. There are factory holes on the reverse side by which to hang it. Overall size is 8 1/4" tall by 3 1/2" wide. Please see our other auctions for more vintage dog collectibles. We are happy to combine shipping when possible.
