Materials: Buffalo Hide
Description: This unique and attractive shield has raised dimples and braided/ twisted leather comprising its central boss. An unusual and effective technique that strengthened it from being pierced with a spear! It is decorated with triangular motifs with applied red pigment surrounded by white dotting. It shows obvious wear and use and is in good condition.
