    Description

An original B&W 35 mm slide, in cardboard mount, of New York City Transit Authority BMT Div. ex-South Brooklyn Railway steeple cab locomotive #7 pushing a work train northbound at 50th St. on the West End Line, Brooklyn. Taken by seller on Sept. 2, 1960. Note that the locomotive still has trolley poles from former South Brooklyn surface operation, and employee sitting on rear of the engine.
Professionally duplicated and processed non-digitally by the late Steve Zabel from an original negative. There are a few slight imperfections on the slide, which may not be visible in the scan. Text on scan does not appear on actual slide.
