    Description

    Sheffield by Salem Ohio China Cup And Saucer Ivory Blue Laurel. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
    This is smaller than a modern coffee/teacup, which I attribute to its age, along with its less refined manufacturing - there is a granular bump beneath the glaze and some blemishes on the interior, too.
    The Salem China Company was founded in 1898 - which is not to say this cup/saucer is that old, but they could potentially be legitimately antique, though most of Salem's patterns originated between the 1930s &1950s.
    Structurally, and outside the manufacturing, they are in great shape with no chips/cracks.
    They are also quite rare, as there are not a lot of pieces of Sheffield 'out there.'
