    Description

From the collection of ballerina DANY COLLETIN comes this precious oil painting of a BALLET CURTAIN SCENE, measuring
8 5/8 x 10 1/2 inches (Height x Width) and featuring three ballerinas and a male dancer applauding an old gentleman, presumably the maestro (conductor) or perhaps the choreographer, holding a large bouquet of flowers. It is thought that one of the ballerinas is Dany Colletin herself. She danced in London in the 1950s and with the Dutch National Ballet in the early 1960s. She retired to Paris, where she passed away.
The painting is signed in the lower left margin and appears to read BECEXOBA B.A.
This would make the perfect birthday or holiday gift for a favorite dancer, dance student, ballet teacher, ballerina, or ballettomane.
