Poster in very good condition; has been professionally mounted to chipboard backing, some bending & creases along edges due to backing size, no signs of color bleed or deterioration, gradation in color is original (visible in online images of same vintage poster)

Artist’s profile:
Bernard Villemot (1911-1989) was one of the most distinguished graphic artists of the 20th Century. His work is recognized for its simple forms & vibrant colors. Villemot designed graphic work and advertising campaigns for many renowned French companies such as Air France, Bally, Contrex, Orangina, Perrier & SNCF as well as Air Afrique, Frigidaire & United Airlines. 1977 was one of the later years that he designed the poster for the international air show held on odd-numbered years.
