    Brand new, never worn. These is such an elegant pendant necklace from Museum Reproductions of Boston.  Adaptation of the 16th-17th century Russian barrel garnet and pearl necklace. Composed of  fresh water pearls, garnets and granulation beads. Pendant is gold plated sterling (vermeil). The main source of fresh water pearls during this time was the pearl fisheries in the rivers of northern Russia. Lobster clasp closure.
