Brilliant Uncirculated 2 Pound coin. The nickel-brass coin (70Cu-5.5Ni-24.5Zn) weighs 15.98 grams and measures 28.40 mm. It is 3.40 mm thick.
The coin features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth on the front and a thistle encircled by a laurel wreath superimposed on St. Andrew's Cross on the rear.
Issued to commemorate the 13th Commonwealth Games held in Scotland.
The Edge is inscribed "XIII COMMONWEALTH GAMES SCOTLAND 1986"
