Memorial Day, May 30, 1944 Distance 40 Miles-2 Laps Of 20 Mile Course Sponsored By The National Aeronautic Association. Total Prize Money Was 0 Amelia Earhart Was The Chief Starter Of The Race And Was Present. My Late Father Was Born In 1924 In The Bronx, N.Y. His Love Of Aviation Was His Whole Life Enlisting In The Army Air Corps And Later Flying B-17's In WWII And His Whole Life In The Aircraft Parts And Manufacturing Business. I Found This Original Program And The Third Annual As Well. Before Selling The Originals To The Smithsonian Institution I Was Able To Duplicate The Color, Paper Type And Thickness As The Original For The Re-Productions. These Will Only Be Made Available In Small Batches.
