You have found a very nice and very unique Lincoln Town Car. This beauty is a factory 'Signature' Edition with a dealer installed 'Premiere' package which includes a full carriage top, chrome pillars, chrome rocker panels, chrome wheel lip openings, 24k gold factory emblems (including the wheel center caps) as well as in the grille and special 24k gold 'Premiere' emblems as I have depicted below. This is a two family owned car and has spent it's entire life in dry, sunny Phoenix Arizona so it is 100% rust free and it has definitely been garage kept as there is no evidence of any heat damage. It comes complete with all factory floor mats, three keys, two remotes and all owners books including the tutorial CD and the door code card. The car is in exceptional condition and these rear wheel drive, full sized luxury sedans that still have an actual 'frame' are very desirable so do not miss this one.
The car is obviously
not perfect but is in very nice original condition and it shows just as well in person as it shows in photos.
Please read my thorough description and review the 100 + full sized photos below including several of the undercarriage that show there are no corrosion issues and that the car has not been damaged.
The body of the car is nice and straight with no major dings, dents or scratching. There were a few chips and a small scuff on the front bumper that I had professionally airbrushed so it looks really nice. Paint is shiny and glossy with no paint fade and the top is like brand new with no weathering, discoloration or deterioration. All lights and lenses are intact, headlights show just minimal aging and all are functional. The car has a Class 2 receiver hitch professionally installed and wired under the rear bumper that can be used for a wheel chair rack, luggage rack or to tow a small utility trailer. Glass is nice, windshield shows minimal wear, no cracks or major chips and no 'wiper-wear', it is clean and clear. Front side windows are clear and the rears are lightly tinted. Tires have good tread, I had to replace one on the right rear as I picked up a nail so that one tire is of a different brand but the proper size and all tires have 75% + tread life remaining. Factory alloy wheels are nice, center caps show some aging but are all there and look decent.
The interior is very clean. Carpets show minimal wear but no juice or coffee stains, I lost the original floor mats during the detail process so I purchased a brand new set directly from the Lincoln dealer in the proper color and the front two mats have the Lincoln logos on them. Leather is supple and soft, no dryness and they show honestly, clean with no rips, tears or seam separation. The driver's door panel is all intact, it was loose due to age but I attached a strong bolt and washer to firm it up, it is solid and shows some wear. The rest of the door panels and dash are in really nice original condition. There is a magnetic cell phone mount on the passenger side, it is attached with two sided tape so it can be easily removed if it is not to your taste. Headliner is excellent as are the visors and the vanity lighting is functional. Power equipment is in good working order, audio system sounds good and the air conditioning system works properly with nice cold AC.
Mechanically the car is sound. Engine starts promptly and runs strong and quiet with no noises, the transmission shifts smoothly through all gears with proper punctuality and the car is an absolute pleasure to drive. The only thing the car will need in the future is a transmission mount as it has aged. You can feel that upon sharp braking but under normal operating conditions it is a non issue and is an inexpensive repair if you feel it necessary. Brakes feel good, no shimmy or shake when applied at any speed. There are no 'check engine' or 'service' lights on in the dash as you can reference in the photo of the cluster with the engine running below.
So, what's a really clean, unique Town car with good history and good miles worth? This car would be on any dealer's lot in America for ,900
