Description
This car has been sitting for approximately 25 years. It was originally a 340/Automatic. The motor and trans were long gone when I bought the car. I have a partial data plate that is pretty much rusted away, but some of the numbers are still legible. (See the last photo)Notice that although it's really not much more than a build-able shell, it has the floor shifter, radio, rear bumper with brackets, hood latch and bracket, glass, grill parts, header panel, drip rail molding, etc.
As you can see, it's got rust in the floorboards, trunk, underside of the hood and quarter panels, but it's all repairable. The deck lid is beyond repair. The rocker panels are in real good shape, and there is very little rot in the cowl. The trunk seal area is in good shape and the areas around the windshield and backlite are as well. Look closely at all the pictures, be sure that you see that there are definitely some rusty areas.
I bought it with the intention of restoring it back in the early 2000's but life got in the way. Now I'm nearly 70 and it's just not in me to do another project like this.
It's listed as a Rough Project car and that's exactly what it is. It has no title, (Georgia was a non-title State in 1969) but it will come with a Georgia Bill of Sale and you can take that to your local DMV and they'll issue a title in your state.
***The car does NOT roll, it has to be either dragged onto a trailer, or I can have a wrecker driver to lift it and set it on a flat, open trailer. This will NOT be able to go onto a multi-car trailer.
Transportation is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
I can store the car for a few weeks if necessary, but full payment is due either by cash, wire transfer, or postal money order no later than 7 days after auction ends.
